East 50 Realty is named after Highway 50, dubbed the loneliest road in America by Life Magazine in 1986. We are located in Austin, Nevada and generally serve the Austin, Gillman Springs, Kingston, and Reese River Valley areas.

Inventory of property for sale varies and at any given time there may only be a few properties on the market. They often sell quickly. Why? Over 90% of land in Nevada is owned by the Federal Government. This results in great wide expanses for recreation and wandering. But it also means there is little available for private ownership.This is particularly true in rural areas, like Austin, where large ranches and farms account for most of the private ownership.
